“In visiting the capital of Ukraine the ministers of Poland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Hungary wish to demonstrate the solidarity of Central and Eastern Europe with Ukraine,” a spokesperson for the Polish foreign ministry told Polish Radio.
The ministers of the so-called Visegrad group (V4) will fly to Kiev on Tuesday morning from Brussels, following an EU foreign-policy summit. They will fly back to their respective countries in the late evening.
They will meet the president, prime minister and speaker of the Ukrainian parliament, as well as leaders of the most important parliamentary parties. (an)
