Polish-Spanish talks underway in Madrid

During the meeting, the two countries’ justice ministers are set to sign an agreement on legal assistance between Poland and Spain.
Polish Justice Minister Borys Budka explained that the agreement seeks to improve the exchange of information between courts. Spanish authorities are also interested in Polish experiences with regard to the computerisation of the judiciary.
Deputy Foreign Minister Rafał Trzaskowski said that the main topic of the talks will be issues related to the European Union.
He explained that the Greek banking crisis and the future of the European monetary union would be discussed. (rg)
