Polish Foreign Ministry: 'Our condolences' over Sinai plane crash

The spokesperson for the Polish Foreign Ministry has expressed his condolences to the families of the 234 people aboard the Russian passenger liner which crashed on the Sinai peninsula on Saturday.

The Airbus A-231 had departed from the Red Sea resort in Egypt headed for St Petersburg in Russia.
It disappeared from radar coverage at an altitude of 9,500 metres over the Sinai peninsula.
According to the BBC, the plane has already been found in the Hassana area and bodies have been removed.
Egyptian Prime Minister Sherif Ismail in Cairo has formed an emergency committee to deal with the crash of the plane operated by Russia's Metrojet. (rg/rk)
