The Magistrates' Court in Mold, north east Wales, ruled that Maciej Blandziński must serve a five-month prison sentence, as the defendent had already been given a suspended sentence for another crime.

Blandziński had been unemployed since losing a job at a Welsh pub. He had apparently been living on the streets and had lost his identity documents.

The car incident occurred on Tuesday, and the owner of the vehicle was an MS sufferer who had parked in a disabled space.

The owner returned to her vehicle to find that Blandziński had kicked in the windscreen, dented the bodywork and smashed sidewindows.

When asked what he was doing, the inebriated 23-year-old apparently replied that everything was 'fine' and that he was trying to get deported.

The following day, Blandziński expressed remorse when he was informed that the woman had been parked in a disabled space. (nh)
