French and German officials were to take part in the event, which was initiated by the Speaker of the Polish Senate, Stanisław Karczewski.
Karczewski handed out awards to school pupils who wrote the best essays in a competition entitled “Hater, Hacker, e-Citizen.”
“The aim of the competition is to spread knowledge about... cyberspace, internet security and the role of citizens in building an e-democracy," the Polish Senate said on its website.
Monday’s seminar groups officials from the Weimar Triangle, a platform for collaboration between Paris, Warsaw and Berlin.
