At a joint news conference, Szydło said that 2017 marked 80 years since the two countries established diplomatic relations.
She also said that her talks with Rama “confirmed good bilateral relations” between Poland and Albania.
Szydło told reporters that the talks touched on Poland's experience in carrying out healthcare and social reforms.
She offered Polish help to Albania in preparing for opening membership negotiations with the EU. "We have the experience, we have experts ... and we are ready to share this experience with Albania,” she said.
Szydło described Albania as an increasingly popular vacation destination for Poles.
Later in the day the two heads of government attended a bilateral business forum in Warsaw to discuss opportunities for closer trade and investment ties between the two countries, according to Poland's National Chamber of Commerce (KIG).
