Jacek Czaputowicz was speaking at the opening of the second day of an international conference in Warsaw to discuss the Middle East.
Czaputowicz said that the European Union and the United States shared a conviction about the role that Iran could and should play in the Middle East and internationally.
He added: "But we are concerned about the possible results of Iran’s nuclear programme as well as the unconstructive role of the country in the region.
“We unequivocally condemn the intolerable actions of Iran beyond its own territory, including Europe,” said Czaputowicz.
The two-day Warsaw conference on the Middle East has brought together some 60 nations.
Topics up for discussion in Warsaw included “violent instability in Syria and Yemen, as well as efforts to achieve a peace agreement between Israel and the Palestinians,” Czaputowicz and US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo said in a joint opinion piece posted by CNN on its website ahead of the gathering.
