Poland has a new honorary consul in Romania as of Friday.

"My goal is to bring business from Poland to Romania,” the honorary consul, Janusz Szaliński, told public broadcaster Polish Radio.
“I know Romania and I see that Poles can invest here," added Szaliński.
The new Polish diplomatic outpost was due to be opened in the city of Brașov on Friday.
Brașov, north of the of Romanian capital Bucharest, is located in the Transylvania region, which is known as the setting of books and films about Count Dracula. It is a tourist area popular with Polish visitors.
