The gathering in Bratislava was set to bring together top diplomats from the Visegrad Group, which comprises Poland, Hungary, Slovakia and the Czech Republic, and from the Eastern Partnership.
The Partnership, an initiative by Poland and Sweden, was launched in 2009 to forge closer political and economic ties between the EU and its eastern neighbours Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine.
The foreign ministry in Warsaw said Monday’s meeting would include a discussion of Polish proposals on the shape of the Eastern Partnership after 2020.
Czaputowicz said last month that cooperation between the EU and the six ex-Soviet countries needed to be strengthened.
