Polish police and lawyers are also taking part in the EU-backed EULEX programme, which support Kosovo authorities in the construction of institutions connected to the rule of law, including the police, judiciary and customs.
President Komorowski will meet with the commander of the Polish troops, Lt. Col. Dariusz Adamczyk.
Poland recognised Kosovo as a state nine days after it unilaterally declared itself independent from Serbia in February 2008.
Belgrade has yet to recognise Kosovo, however.
Poland originally sent 800 troops to the region as part of the NATO-led operations, though that number has now been reduced to under 300. (pg)
