Lead singer Florence Welch enthused that it is “a real privilege” to perform in the country, describing the Polish audience as “the best in the world,” as cited by RMF FM.
Both of the group's albums, Lungs (2009) and Ceremonials (2011) have gone platinum in Poland.
“I knew that it was going to be an incredible concert,” Welch said.

Fans were treated to the cream of the band's back catalogue, taking in hits such as “Shake it Out”, “Rabbit Heart (Raise it up)” and “Dog Days are Over”, as well as The Source cover “You Got the Love.”
Many of Welch's female fans donned wreaths for the gig, a practice that is traditional in Krakow for the ancient summer solstice-related Wianki event, on St. John's Eve.
Other key acts at this year's festival included fellow Brits The Cribs and Franz Ferdinand, as well as US Rappers the Wu-Tang Clan.
Initial estimates indicate that over 40,000 turned out for this year's edition. (nh)
