Poland's most successful fantasy writer Andrzej Sapkowski has returned to the saga that won him worldwide fame after a 14-year break.

Forthcoming novel Storm Season (Sezon Burz) will once again take up the tale Geralt, the much-loved monster-slayer, together with his trusty companion and bard Jaskier.
According to publishers Supernowa, Geralt's latest adventure will see a “a stormy affair with a red-haired beauty known as Koral.”
There are problems aplenty, with the hero's indispensable swords going missing, and a new foe described only as “a murderous predator who lives to kill.”
Sapkowski's Witcher saga has spawned a slew of offshoots, ranging from a best-selling series of video games to a tie-in television serial.
The author's last foray into the the saga was in 1999 with novel The Lady of the Lake (Pani Jeziora).
His books have been translated into 15 languages, and the Polish version of his latest novel will hit shops in November. (nh)
