The film focuses on the June 1942 assassination of SS General Reinhard Heydrich, known as 'the Butcher of Prague', during the Nazi occupation of Czechoslovakia.
The Czechoslovak government-in-exile in the UK hatched the so-called 'Operation Anthropoid' to eliminate Heydrich, who was Acting Reich Protector of Bohemia and Moravia.
Two British-trained operatives, Jan Kubis and Josef Gabcik, were parachuted back to their homeland to carry out the mission.
Kubis and Gabcik are being played by Jamie Dornan ('Fifty Shades of Grey') and Cillian Murphy ('Inception', 'The Dark Knight').
Dorociński, who played the lead role in Cold War spy thriller 'Jack Strong', joins supporting cast members including Harry Lloyd ('Game of Thrones') and Toby Jones ('Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy').
Directing duties are being taken by Oscar-nominated helmer Sean Ellis, the British film-maker who won a clutch of awards for his most recent movie, 'Metro Manila' (2013). (nh/rk)
