The 2,500 sq m maze is made from tens of thousands of ice blocks and the builders hope it will find its way into the Guinness Book of Records.
Artur Haber, one of the people who came up with the idea for the attraction, told Poland’s PAP news agency that construction on the maze began in November.
"In December there was a question mark hanging over the project because the weather warmed up considerably. Fortunately, right after Christmas it turned frosty.”
The world’s biggest snow maze up to now was built in Canada and measured 1,700 sq m. (pk)
