Rachel Weisz wraps up movie 'Denial' in Kraków

The shoot of a major new movie about Holocaust denial has wrapped up in Kraków, southern Poland, following filming in Poland, the UK and America.

UK movie 'Denial' explores the plight of Professor Deborah Lipstadt, an American academic sued for libel by British historian David Irving after she accused him of being a Holocaust denier.
Rachel Weisz, best known for her roles in 'The Constant Gardener' and 'The Mummy', plays Lipstadt, and the part of her barrister is taken by Tom Wilkinson ('The Ghost Writer', 'The Grand Budapest Hotel'), while Timothy Spall ('Mr Turner', 'The King's Speech') plays the controversial historian Irving.
Mick Jackson is director of the film, having previously brought movies such as 'The Bodyguard' and 'Volcano' to the silver screen.
The final scene of 'Denial' was shot in a restaurant on Kraków's Main Market Square. The Kraków Film Commission was a partner during the shoot. (nh/pk)
