Poles more pessimistic than optimistic about future: survey

Thirty-eight percent of Poles claim that things in the country are going in the right direction.

Meanwhile, 41 percent look into the future with pessimism, according to a survey by pollster Kantar Public.
In comparison with a similar survey a month ago, the proportion of optimists shrank by three percentage points while that of pessimists increased by four points.
The number of Poles according to whom the country's economy is in good shape grew by four percentage points over the same period.
The survey was carried out between October 12 and 17 on a representative group of 1,067 respondents aged 15 and over.
