Polish MPs supplemented their parliamentary incomes in a variety of ways during 2014, ranging from managing footballers to giving lectures.

Civic Platform MP Cezary Kucharski dwarfed his parliamentary salary by earning PLN 1.6 million in real estate and managing footballers.
Meanwhile, former Deputy Prime Minister Waldemar Pawlak , who headed junior coalition partner the Polish People's Party (PSL) until 2012, amassed PLN 213,000 in side earnings, thanks to his private farm, combined with revenue from advice given to entrepreneurs.
Law and Justice MP Jan Szyszko made PLN 71,000 through lecturing for the Warsaw University of Life Sciences and the College of Social and Media Culture in Toruń.
Head of the Democratic Left Alliance (SLD) Leszek Miller made PLN 68,000 thanks to his business interests.
Polish MPs typically earn PLN 12,000 per month for their parliamentary duties. (nh)
