At a press conference on Tuesday, spokesman Bartłomiej Misiewicz said that the helicopters will be used for tests.
He added that the ministry will prepare an offset contract and invite manufacturers to participate.
In October 2016, the ministry cancelled an agreement signed by the previous government to purchase 50 aircraft from France-based Airbus Helicopters, a deal worth PLN 13.5 billion (EUR 3.2 billion).
