The European Attractiveness Survey by consulting firm EY says that last year Europe saw record foreign direct investment (FDI).
The three most popular investment destinations were Britain, Germany and France, where more than half (51%) of new projects were located.
In 2016, 256 new FDI projects were announced in Poland, 21 percent up on the year before, according to the report.
More than 22,000 jobs were generated in Poland as a result, an increase of 12 percent compared to 2015, report added.
In both categories Poland was the undisputed leader in Central and Eastern Europe.
