According to the paper, the ban could be introduced on 25 March 2018 to prohibit takeoffs and landings between 11:30pm and 5:30am.

The daily also reported that carriers using the airport were notified of the planned ban in August and were making the necessary preparations although the changes have yet to be formally approved.

If introduced, the ban would mostly hit low-cost airlines such as Wizz Air, Puls Biznesu said, as the carrier would have to reschedule 14 of its flights from and to Warsaw, including destinations such as London, Barcelona, Tel Aviv and Reykjavik.
