In the first half of the year, the country’s agri-food exports increased by more than 9 percent in year-on-year terms and were well on track to reaching EUR 26 billion in 2017 as a whole, according to the report by professional services firm KPMG.
In late September, Poland’s agriculture minister said he expected the country’s food exports this year to be worth over EUR 25 billion.
Krzysztof Jurgiel added that Polish food exports last year totalled EUR 24 billion.
According to KPMG, Poland’s agri-food exports have grown by nearly 80 percent since 2010 in terms of value.
