More firms folding in Poland: report

Company bankruptcies rose 8 percent in Poland in the first two months of this year compared with the same period last year, according to a report.

Credit insurance company Euler Hermes said that 158 companies folded in the first two months of the year, up from 146 during the same period in 2017.
In February, 76 companies were declared insolvent, down from 77 in the same month last year, according to Euler Hermes.
One of the authors of the report, Grzegorz Błachnio, said that the number of bankruptcies throughout this year could be 5 percent higher than in 2017.
