Polish Post tests e-scooters

Electric scooters and e-bikes are set to take to the roads of Warsaw and a handful of other cities in central Poland as the Polish Post, the state-owned postal group, looks to go green and lower costs.

Fifteen vehicles, from eight distributors, are set to be tested. The postal service has previously tested electric delivery vans.

The Polish Post wants to meet the requirements of a new law on e-cars and alternative fuels. (vb/pk)
