Poland’s national carrier LOT has set up a Boeing 787 Dreamliner flight simulator in the lobby of a Warsaw hotel adjacent to the Chopin international airport.

It is not a professional simulator used to train commercial pilots, said LOT spokesman Adrian Kubicki, but it does feature authentic seats, as used by real Dreamliner pilots, a real throttle, and an autopilot function.
The simulated flight, from takeoff to landing at a virtual version of an airstrip in Boeing Field, where the planes are made, is free to all visitors.
LOT is expected to have 15 Dreamliner jets in its fleet by the end of next year, one of the largest numbers among air carriers in Europe, the gazetaprawna.pl online newspaper has previously reported.
At the end of last year, LOT said it aimed to transport up to 10 million passengers in 2018, up from 6.8 million in 2017. (vb/pk)
