Eighty-two Polish firms are showing off their wares at their country’s pavilion at the first China International Import Expo, which runs from November 5 to 10.

Poland has the largest stand among European Union countries.

Companies at the fair especially want to export Polish food, amber products and new technologies to China, public broadcaster Polish Radio’s IAR news agency reported.

Entrepreneurs from more than 140 countries are taking part in the show.

The head of the Polish Investment and Trade Agency, Tomasz Pisula, told Polish Radio that the best strategy for carving out a bigger piece of the Chinese market was focusing on quality, not on price.
