The event, held under the slogan “Greening the growth through innovation,” was expected to focus on environmental technology and ways of reducing carbon emissions, public broadcaster Polish Radio’s IAR news agency reported, citing Poland’s Enterprise and Technology Minister Jadwiga Emilewicz.
Emilewicz was among the keynote speakers for the conference, alongside Sigrid Kaag, the Dutch Minister of Foreign Trade and Development Cooperation.
Participants were expected to brainstorm topics such as e-mobility, smart solutions in the life science sector, start-up hubs and innovation alliances.
Last month almost 400 companies and institutions took part in a Polish-German Economic Forum that Poland’s Emilewicz attended in Berlin together with Germany’s Economic Affairs and Energy Minister Peter Altmaier.
