Czechs partial to Polish food: report

Poland has moved ahead of Germany to become the largest exporter of food to the Czech Republic in volume terms, a newspaper has reported.

The southern neighbour bought 1.5 million tonnes of Polish food last year, an increase of 80 tonnes from 2017, Poland's Puls Biznesu daily said, citing data from the Czech Statistical Office (ČSÚ).
Meanwhile, in terms of value, Poland was the second-largest exporter of food to the Czech market last year, after Germany, according to Puls Biznesu.
Trailing Poland were the Netherlands, Spain and Slovakia, the newspaper reported.
