Poland’s central bank has forecast that the country’s economy is on track to grow 4.5 percent this year, 4.0 percent in 2020 and 3.5 percent in 2021.

In its Inflation Report published on Monday, the National Bank of Poland (NBP) said: “According to the results of the July projection, in 2020 GDP growth will slow down, but will continue to run above the path of the March projection.”
The report added: “In 2021, the factors that boosted the forecasts in the previous two years will to a large extent fade, and GDP growth will approach the path of the March projection.”
Poland’s investment and development minister said last month that the Polish economy was on track to grow no less than 4.5 percent in 2019.
International rating agency Fitch recently upgraded its forecast for Poland's GDP growth this year to 4.2 percent from a previous projection of 4 percent.
