Poland becoming British property hot spot

A survey by property company Rightmove has found that internet searches in the UK to purchase property in Poland rose by almost 60 percent in August.
The British had previously favoured Portugal and Spain to buy a second home in, but now Central Europe is becoming an increasingly attractive region as the Iberian peninsula economy sinks under the weight of the debt crisis.
German and French properties also attracted a rise in interest this summer, finds the survey. (pg)
