President Andrzej Duda on Sunday travels to San Francisco , the last stage of his six day visit to the US. The Polish head of state accompanied by his wife Agata Kornhauser Duda are due to meet with representatives of the Polish community in California , while on Monday the Polish head of state is scheduled to open the Polish American Forum for New Technologies, later in the day the Polish presidential couple will be visiting Google headquarters and a meeting with the President of YouTube and the Senior Vice President of Google for International Relations is planned. Andrzej Duda will also meet Polish engineers working for Google .
On Saturday the Polish head of state was in Nevada taking part in the presentation of drones in the town of Reno prepared by NASA , the Nevada Institute for Autonomous Systems and the Polish Institute of Aviation. , the largest Polish US unmanned aerial vehicle test project. In Reno Andrzej Duda opened the Polish Business and Innovation Week in Nevada and met with representatives of Polish startups that operate in Nevada. Opening the forum president Duda underlined that cooperation between Poland and Nevada is exemplary and beneficial for both countries : “I wish that the Polish Business and Innovation Week in Nevada, becomes not only a fixed event on the calendar of important economic events , but also a ground work for stronger Polish -US economic relations” said Duda at the opening ceremony. The Polish Business and Innovation Week is hoped to bring more opportunities of cooperation and recruit high–tech business from Poland.
The biggest Polish investor in Nevada is the Polish copper giant KGHM Polska Miedź, the owner of the Robinson colliery employing over 700 people .
The US visit of the Polish head of state opened on Wednesday . Andrzej Duda, accompanied by First Lady Agata Kornhauser-Duda , met with US leader Donald Trump and the US first lady, Melania Trump, at the White House. On Thursday the Polish head of state met with executives from American energy companies and visited an LNG terminal on the border between the southern US states of Texas and Louisiana.
The Polish presidential couple will be leaving the US on Monday evening.
