“I still have a long road in front of me,” Robert Kubica said after winning the 29th Citta di Bassano rally, northern Italy.

“But this shows the road is not as long as we thought,” he added, referring to his rehabilitation as a racing driver after a horrific crash in a rally last year threatened his F1 career.
The rally on Saturday was Kubica's third drive since his return after the accident, which badly injured his right arm.
The next step for Kubica, Poland's first ever F1 driver, could be as a test driver for tyre maker Piralli.
“I haven't spoken to Robert for some time, but we are working on a few projects that might involve him, so it might be a possibility,” Pirelli Motorsport director Paul Hembery told mailonline.co.uk. (pg)
