Saturday's clash between heavyweight veterans Przemyslaw Saleta and Andrzej Golota has proved a roaring success for Polsat television, which operated a pay-per-view system for the showdown.

According to unofficial figures published in the Rzeczpospolita daily, some 130,000 viewers paid to watch the clash.
At 40 zloty per viewing, Polsat would have amassed over 5 million zloty (1.2 million euro) from the fight.
Saleta, who will turn 45 next month, defeated Andrzej Golota (45) in six rounds at Gdansk's Ergo Arena, in what was being billed as the last chance to catch either fighter in the ring.
Nevertheless, Saleta has already been besieged with offers to return, with ageing American heavyweight Oliver “The Atomic Bull” McCall among the challengers.
Saleta has not commented yet on whether he might rethink his retirement plan and return to the ring. (nh)
