Polish motorcyclist Jakub Przygonski has won the third stage of the Abu Dhabi Desert Challenge rally.

The Pole has now crept up to fifth place in the overall standings of the event, which constitutes the second round of the FIA Cross Country Rally World Cup.
“I didn't make any serious navigational errors, in spite of the fairly difficult route,” a relieved Przygonski told Polish Radio.
British racer Sam Sunderland is currently leading the pack, followed by Portuguese rider Paulo Goncalves and Spaniard Marc Coma.
Besides Przygonski, fellow Pole Tadeusz Blazusiak is also in the top ten, currently ranked 7th in the overall placings.
The entire Abu Dhabi Desert Challenge takes in close to 2000 kilometres, divided across five stages.
The participants are due to complete the final stage on Thursday 11 April. (nh)
