Artur Jedrzejczyk and Arkadiusz Milik scored for Poland, while Josip Drmic and Fabian Frei scored for the visiting side.
Tuesday’s match was more of a warm-down for the White and Reds following their 4-0 thrashing of Georgia on Friday at a Euro 2016 qualifier in Tbilisi, with Poland trainer Adam Nawalka deciding on fielding seven new players during Tuesday’s game.
Switzerland also put out a fresh team following their qualifier with Lithuania, which they also won 4-0.

Following the match, Nawalka said that “the meeting gave me precious insight into the team, but I’m not going to comment publicly”.
“We had a number of interesting offensive plays, but we have a lot to do improve our defence to be prepared 100 percent for our March game against Ireland,” he continued.
For his part, Swiss coach Vladimir Petkovic said that the match “was a celebration of football” and that despite “problems and holes in the defence […] we managed to take the initiative and score the equalising goal”.
The match is the last for the Polish team in 2014. In summing up the year, Poland lost only one match, losing out to Scotland 0-1 in Warsaw in March.
Autumn was a highlight for the team, with a 7-0 slaughter of Gibraltar in September followed by an historic 2-0 win over Germany in October. (jb)
