In landing 126 significant strikes, compared with Penne's 25, the Pole notched up the second biggest strike differential in UFC history.
The referee had to stop the clash in the third round, with Penne looking notably worse for wear.
“I'm going to be the champion for a while,” the victor commented after the match.
Jędrzejczyk won Poland's first ever UFC champion's belt in March this year.
The 27-year-old hails from Olsztyn, northern Poland, and she discovered martial arts as a teenager, beginning her career in Muay Thai. (nh)
