Poland's women's cross-country skiing team will be coached by Aleksander Wierietielny, and former world champion Justyna Kowalczyk will be his assistant, the sport's national governing body has announced.

The announcement by the Polish Ski Association (PZN) comes after 35-year-old Kowalczyk last week said she would be quitting high-performance sports.
She said at the time that she would not retire from sports altogether and hinted that she might take on a new role.
Kowalczyk, who trained under Wierietielny for more than 15 years, has five Olympic medals under her belt, including one gold from the Vancouver Games and another from Sochi.
She also won two world championship titles and is the only person to have been voted the Przegląd Sportowy sports magazine's athlete of the year five times.
The new coaching duo is set to meet potential cross-country ski team members for a preliminary training session at Levi, Finland, from April 8-20. (vb/di/gs)
