The event is to be attended by Interior Minister Joachim Brudziński, Sports Minister Witold Bańka and the head of the Polish Football Association, Zbigniew Boniek, Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki told radio station RMF FM on Saturday.
The talks will include “the main football clubs playing in the Europa League, the champions league and eliminations for the champions league,” Morawiecki said.
“We need to decide on the strongest measures to be taken, in compromise and agreement with football fan groups and management circles,” Morawiecki added.
“It is possible that more stringent laws will be introduced,” he said. “First of all, we want to take any prospective steps jointly with the Polish Football Association and real football fans,” he added.
Stadiums “must be safe and that is our goal,” Morawiecki told RMF FM.
Prosecutors in Poland said on Friday that 24 fans have been charged over crowd trouble at a high-profile football match during which supporters invaded the pitch.
The referee suspended a premier-league match on Sunday between Lech Poznań and Legia Warsaw in the 77th minute after a group of Lech supporters set off flares, causing thick smoke to belch out across the pitch.
