The robbery took place at around 2 am in the town of Varcaturo near Naples as the 24-year-old Poland international, who plays for Italian side Napoli, was returning home after a game against Liverpool, Italy’s ANSA news agency reported.
Two robbers wearing helmets and armed with pistols approached Milik's car and ordered him to hand over the watch worth around EUR 7,000, the news agency said, citing sources it did not name.
The robbers vanished and the player called the police, ANSA reported.
Milik's Napoli beat Liverpool 1-0 in their match in the group stage of the Champions League at San Paolo Stadium in Naples on Wednesday.
Several Poland internationals are hoping to make their mark in this season’s Champions League.
