Poland have crashed out of the European women’s handball championship in France.

The Poles were on Tuesday beaten 22-23 by Sweden in the French city of Nantes in their third and final match of Group A.
Poland earlier lost 26-33 to Serbia and 21-28 to Denmark.
Nearly 30 former handball players, coaches and officials were in October awarded state decorations by the president to mark 100 years of the sport in Poland.
