Germany won the event in Innsbruck, followed by Austria and Japan.
In 2017, a Polish squad comprising Piotr Żyła, Dawid Kubacki, Maciej Kot and Kamil Stoch took home the top prize at the world ski championships in Lahti, Finland.
Polish jumpers have put in strong performances this season, and fans’ hopes had been running high ahead of the weekend.
