A brand new opera house opens in Białystok
The newly-opened Podlasie Opera and Philharmonic in the north-eastern city of Białystok is a labyrinth of glass staircases among stark cement pillars leading to a satisfyingly decadent black and green auditorium backed up with the newest in stage, recording and transmission technology, as Director Roberto Skolmowski told the English Section's Elżbieta Krajewska, taken around by the Opera's Magdalena Kleban.
