Heavyweight Tomasz Adamek had to pull out of Saturday’s fight against Vyacheslav Glazkov of Ukraine due to stomach flu.
It was to have been the top of the bill fight in Verona, NY, to be televised by NBC network.
Also in the program: after the Polish Olympic Committee had announced Poland and Slovakia will make a joint bid to host the Winter Games in 2022, the Ukrainian city of Lviv also entered the race. Offside! is presented by Danuta Isler.
