Makerland, a three-day workshop for people who want to tinker and build stuff, has just wrapped up in Warsaw.

Do you know what Raspberry Pi is? Clue: you can’t eat it. But don’t worry, reporter John Beauchamp didn’t know either before he went to Makerland, a three-day event which has just wrapped up in Warsaw for hardware and IT geeks.
Makerland is a new kind of event organised for everyone interested in getting to know the world of makers and hardware.
The event hosted numerous workshops on making all sorts of stuff - a techie’s dream - using Arduino (see picture above) and Raspberry Pi, two kinds of basic credit-card sized computers. Also in abundance were 3D printing, iBeacons, drones, and robots.
