South African-Polish trade, worth some 800 million U.S. dollars annually - a quarter of Poland's trade with Africa and registered an increase of 23 percent last year.

South Africa is interested not only in Polish electrical and electronic equipment but also this country's experience and know-how connected with shale gas eploration.
This week also in BALANCE: ahead of this week's summit EU Greens have called for a more ambitious target on renewable energy to make the bloc less dependant on Russia.
