To commemorate Poland's Independence Day 11 of November, the Anglo Polish singer Katy Carr released a new album ‘Polonia’, which is a follow up to her 2012 album ‘Passport’. The album honours overlooked Polish heroes of WWII... among her inspirations are Churchill’s favourite spy Christina Skarbek, Polish 1st Armoured Division general Stanislaw Maczek or Polish mathematicians, Enigma code breakers of Bletchley Park.
Katy Carr left Poland when she was five, now she comes here as often as she can, Poland and Poles are part of her music….
