Easter Monday special
The religious feast of Easter, which celebrates the Resurrection of Christ, is a national holiday in Poland. Easter Monday is also known as "Wet Monday" (lany poniedziałek), with a tradition of throwing water on others. According to ethnographers, this is a ritual that is originally Slav, and associated with fertility. And in the magazine we shall be looking at old traditions in the eyes of young people. We'll also find out how Easter traditions are kept among Polish expats in the USA... Lastly, we are talking to Slawomir Grunberg, director of the film about the celebrated WWII courier Jan Karski, titled 'Karski and the Lords of Humanity'.
