August 15 Special Broadcast

On the national holiday of August 15th, first in our transmission: Flashback, our historical series, in which we look at the Polish-Soviet war of 1920. On August 15, 1920 the Battle of Warsaw stopped the advancing Soviet forces. We are also visiting the locality of Radzymin, now a quiet town not far from the capital, but in the early years of Poland's statehood an important witness to the Polish-Soviet war
Lastly, a concert of military songs sung by the Polish legions fighting in the Great War which contributed greatly to the re-emergence of Poland as a sovereign state.
