The talks, held in Warsaw on Wednesday, came after an article published by The Washington Post on 10 August which suggested that Jews were concerned over “rising anti-Semitism” in Poland.
The head of Kaczyński's office, Radosław Fogiel, said "it was a very good meeting, held in a great atmosphere".
"We talked about the situation of Jews in Poland, about Polish-Israeli partnership, about the cultural heritage of Polish Jews, and the history that Poles and Jews have shared over the years," Fogiel added.
