Presented by Slawek Szefs with Agnieszka Bielawska

Well, the time has come to say goodbye to our faithful shortwave audience. Definitely not a joyous occasion, especially when we look back at the long years of contacts and exchange of experiences. I, personally, shall miss the reception reports, technical comments and often family ties we've all managed to establish. In many cases we can speak of truly mullti-generation relationships. I shall not quote reasons for our disappearance from the SW spectrum, these being widely known, even if not accepted.

But I must also stress that leaving SW does not mean the termination of broadcasting for the English Section of Polish Radio. This must be seen as the bright side of the changes introduced, as many of our international partners were forced to go off the air completely over the past few years. We managed to avoid their fate.

Thank you one and all for your invaluable contributions to our DX related programs down the years. And though we are saying goodbye to our listeners on shortwave, we wholeheartedly invite you to continue in your habits joining PRES on satellite and through our online service. 73s !!!
