Two killed in train accident

Two people and a dog were killed when a train ran into them on Monday evening on the outskirts of Przemyśl, south eastern Poland.

The incident occurred at about 8pm local time, and police have determined that a 60-year-old man and a 39-year-old woman fell victim.
The train was running from Rzeszów to Przemyśl and it has already been confirmed that the driver was sober.
Footage from a surveillance camera mounted on the train will be studied in a bid to clarify the circumstances of the collision. (nh)
